Laura Alemán (born March 8) is a Puerto Rican actress and reality television participant.

Life and career

Laura Alemán was born in the town of Ponce on March 8. Daughter of German great singer Marissa Alemán and granddaughter of Mary I. Millán retired professor of German at the Catholic University of Ponce and Sacred Heart School. She began her studies at Sacred Heart University of Puerto Rico as full-time student. Auditioned for the Physical Theatre Company Polyhymnia thinking it was a dance company and proved to be a totally theatrical company but with the training of dancers. Always interested in acting, but was more focused on staying on the ballet, which was trained from very young to 18 years with Victor Sosa.

Decided to experiment in the company of Polyhymnia to finish completely in love with acting, so she entered a talent agency. It took two months and had already recorded her first commercial for Radio Shack for Latin America and a movie with the director Marcos Zurinaga to ASSMCA named Lucia, Ignacio and Other Stories. Seeing that everything was going well, decided to try her luck in New York to continue her education with a concentration in drama at Hunter College. She also entered the famous school developed by the Traveling Theatre: Raul Julia Training Unit was studying at university in the morning and then took a train to the city for two hours to study at the specialized school. He entered a competition winning first place being sponsored by the famous actor of the American series "The Sopranos" Vinny Vela. It was then that joined a talent agency and in turn recommending several key people, thus working Off Broadway Theater Company Ghali Group. She decided to return to Puerto Rico to continue practicing in their homeland. She began her second degree in Sacred Heart and later went to Spain in exchange for Jose Ortega y Gasset Foundation for its practice in the television channel called MORE WOOD TV FORUM where work performed as Host and editor. Upon returning to Puerto Rico opened many doors and began working full-time. She made the protagonist in the music video for Divino ALWAYS WITH ME. Telemundo Puerto Rico] was in the show area and the character of Natalia, antagonist. She was also a co-host on the program FILM TV broadcast by WAPA and WAPA America. Made commercial for Burger King, Ana G. Mendez, Radio Shack, McDonald, Medalla Light, Transit Authority, Pan Pepin and the most recent T-Mobile Flash puppy with director Carlitos Ruiz Ruiz known for his film EVIL LOVES decisions and the campaign of the People's Bank directed by Marcos Zurinaga. She toured with the company of Lucky Theatre Productions with the work ... HUM PRISONER where also participated Otilio Warrington "Biscocho", Miguel Ramos, among others. She worked on the HBO series East Bound And Down as stuntman of the actress Ana De la Reguera. She recently won by the young photographer Gabriel Ocando Ford Fiesta car was making short films where people like Divino, Miguelito and mayor of San Germán ISIDRO NEGRON were involved. In 2011, she was the only Puerto Rican contestant to enter the competition, Protagonistas The Reality of Univision Network, resulting as the winner of it. As awards, she had the opportunity to act on two television soap operas and other similar programs. Alemán will be acting in the upcoming film by Vicente Castro, Pacto de Silencio to be transmitted by Univision Puerto Rico. As future goals, she wants to continue acting in local and foreign productions to develop a workshop for young people where they can cope with equality in theater and film industry and soon begin a master's degree in the United States. Alemán won Univision's reality show Protagonistas, receiving a one-year exclusive contract with Univision and a role in their next telenovela, El Talismán, alongside Blanca Soto and Aarón Díaz, but finally she did not work in the soap opera.[1][2]
