Lauren Steadman is a Paralympic athlete.[1] who competed in the 2008 Beijing[2] and 2012 London[3] Paralympic Games. She won medals in 2009 and in 2011 at the IPC European championships, and in 2013[4] and 2014[5] at the European Championships Paratriathlon. In 2014 she won the London World Series Paratriathlon,[6] gained a first class degree in Psychology[7] and became the World Champion Paratriathlete in Edmonton, Canada.

Paratriathlon[8] will become an Olympic sport at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.[9]
