Leadbolt (as in the verb lead) is a mobile advertising network. The company was founded in 2010[1] in Sydney, Australia by Dale Carr.[2] Originally founded as a web focused CPA Network in the niche area of Content Locking, in 2011 it launched its mobile advertising platform.[3] As of May 2015, Leadbolt claims to serve 10 billion ads a month, across 65,000 apps in 165 countries.

Types of ads available

Leadbolt is positioned as a provider of premium performance ad types[4] contrasting itself with traditional banner ad networks like AdMob. Leadbolt's ad types include Full-Screen Interstitials, In-App Alerts, Video Ads, Floating Ads, Overlays, Banners, Native ad customization options, and Re-Engagement Tool. In December 2011, they launched an advanced ad format, App Wall, which needs no SDK and can be implemented within minutes. In November 2012, they launched their newest ad type, Audio Ads, which allow advertisers to advertise during app usage with minimum interruptions, similar to how radio commercials work.[5]

Advertisers include Liquid Wireless, Hungama, NQ Mobile, Ngmoco, Trademob, Pepsi, Walmart, Groupon and more.[6]
