Leaders For Tomorrow

Leaders For Tomorrow is a not-for-profit youth movement established in India whose members mainly consist of college students between the ages of 18 and 25. It was founded by Binoy Job in early 2008 under the name Young Leaders For Social Development which later changed to Leaders For Tomorrow.

Purpose

Mission

The main motive of Leaders For Tomorrow (LFT) is to awaken the social consciousness of the youth thereby encouraging volunteerism and social action among them. The main purpose is to provide a platform where the youth can express their views, generate ideas, meet great leaders, learn new skills, take up social action and ignite the leader in them.

Aim

Objective

The objective is to create leaders for tomorrow, develop the potential change makers, and channel the great potential of youth for global prosperity.

Leadership

The youth movement is guided and headed by various eminent leaders and journalist of India. Board of directors comprises Vijai Trivedi, Rajdeep Sardesai, Facundo Garreton, Sameer Manchanda, Pankaj Pachauri, with Mr.T K A Nair Principal Advisor To Prime Minister of India as its chief Mentor.

Projects

Projects such as Development Channel a web-based news site that aims at providing news relevant to social development. Igniting Young Minds is project undertaken to motivate college going youth to give 1 hour of their week to the under privileged students at government schools and to slum kids.

Weekly Programmes is the only its kind of project which undertakes organizing small social activities in every member college. The activities include cleanliness drives, adopt a plant, shramdaan, visit for passion, cultural competitions.
