Description

The film deals with the theme of global communication and uses a surreal version of a classic tin can telephone to allow its two characters to communicate across the globe.

Awards

Leave Me Alone was originally made for the 2004 UpOverDownUnder Film Festival in London, for which it won Best Newcomers Award and third place in the open competition. It was shortlisted for the Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival and won first place in the First Spark Film Festival, Oxford. It was screened at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, the Short Seasons Festival in Canberra, and the Reel Rural Film Festival, Victoria.
