Lebanon High School is a high school located in Lebanon, Virginia. The school offers Dual Enrollment courses and Career/Technical courses in addition to other academic courses.

Extracurricular activities

Lebanon offers activities including a Band, Color Guard, Choir, an FBLA chapter, Forensics, Journalism, Mock Trial, Mountain Youth Drama, National Honor Society, SCA, Academic Team, VA Teachers for Tomorrow, Model General Assembly and Web Design. The debate team has won the class A state championship for the negative argument and in 1989 for affirmative argument. Lebanon's Boy's Basketball team has also won two State Championships, the most recent coming in 1991 under Head Coach Rick Thompson.

Barack Obama visit

On September 9, 2008, then Presidential Candidate Barack Obama gave a speech from the Lebanon High School gymnasium in an attempt to connect with voters in rural Southwest Virginia. He explained his solution to the economic issues, energy solutions, and job losses. He as well made it clear that he was not against gun rights. He was introduced by 9th district Congressman Rick Boucher.
