Lee Paul Lucas (born 10 June 1992) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays for Swansea City, as a midfielder.
Career
Swansea City
Born in Aberdare, Lucas joined Swansea City at the age of 9,[4] and turned professional for the 2010–11 season.[5] He made his senior debut for Swansea in May 2011, in a 4–0 victory over Sheffield United.[4] He joined Burton Albion on loan in January 2012.[4][6] Lucas signed a new three-year contract with Swansea in June 2012.[7]
On 30 January 2014, Lucas signed for Cheltenham Town on an initial one-month loan deal.[8]
Lucas missed the first seven months of the 2014-15 season through injury. Lucas then suffered a further injury on his playing return for Swansea City Under-21s.[9]
In July 2015 Lucas signed a one-year contract extension with Swansea, keeping him at the club until June 2016.[10]
International
Lucas has represented Wales at various levels from under-17 to under-21 level.[11] In January 2013, Lucas he was selected in the Wales under-21 squad for the friendly match against Iceland on 6 February 2013.[12]
