Leigh Phillips is an award-winning composer*,[1] orchestrator and conductor, known for producing music scores for animation, short features, documentaries,[2] theatrical productions, television promos and feature film. In addition to this, he is responsible for developing unique orchestrations for film and television projects and exclusive arrangements for performances and recordings taking place worldwide.
Previous collaborations have included the, BAFTA Award-winning, composer John Ottman, Grammy Award-winning television composer Joe Harnell, The Halle Orchestra, The Golden State Pops Orchestra, soundtrack producers Silva Screen Records and Tadlow Music; his orchestrations and arrangements featuring in productions by companies such as Decca Records, SKY, IMAX, ITV, Channel 4, Prometheus Records, Classic FM and the BBC.[3]
One particularly prominent feature of Phillips' career has been his involvement in the reconstruction of classic (and previously unreleased) film scores. Some notable examples of reconstruction projects (both complete scores and compilation albums) that have employed his orchestrational skills include:

- Lawrence of Arabia (Maurice Jarre)
- Conan the Barbarian (Basil Poledouris)

- Villa Rides (arranger for various suites)
- Taras Bulba (traditional folk-song arrangements)
- Notre Dame de Paris (arranger for various suites) (Maurice Jarre)
- Quo Vadis' (Miklos Rozsa)[4]

With a long-standing interest in music education, he is currently a tutor of both undergraduate and postgraduate film-music composition students at The London College of Music where, in collaboration with the composition department, he assisted in the development of the UK's first, film music specific, Bachelor of Music Degree.[8]
