Leigh bus station is a bus station located in the town of Leigh, Greater Manchester. It is run by Transport for Greater Manchester.
Services
The majority of services that serve Leigh Bus Station are run by Stagecoach Manchester, whilst other operators include Arriva North West, Diamond Bus North West, First Greater Manchester, Jim Stones Coaches and Network Warrington. There are frequent buses running to Atherton, Bolton, Tyldesley and Wigan. Buses also run to Manchester, St Helens, Trafford Centre and Warrington.[1]
National Express services to Blackpool and London also call at the station.[1]
Since April 2016, the bus station has been the western terminus of the Leigh-Salford-Manchester Bus Rapid Transit scheme, having received a facelift.[2]
