Leonie Elliott

Leonie Elliott (born 15 April 1988) is an English actress, best known for her role as Judy Samuels in the British film Wondrous Oblivion.

Early life

Elliott was born in London, England, United Kingdom, to a British-born Jamaican mother and father. She trained from the age of six at The Harris School of Speech and Drama and has appeared in television and film since she was eight.

Career

Elliott started her acting career on a BBC television series entitled Undercover Heart (1998). She then landed her first motion picture role as Rosebud in Tube Tales[1] alongside Rachel Weisz. This was followed by Wondrous Oblivion,[2][3] playing Judy Samuels opposite Delroy Lindo and Emily Woof. Since then Elliott has made guest appearances on The Bill and Holby City. She also played Nala in the West End production of The Lion King. Her many other theatre credits include Treasure Island[4] by Robert Louis Stevenson, adapted by Louise Page, and Concrete Jungle[5] by Bola Agbaje.
