Lepidemathis is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). The two described species are endemic to the Philippines.

Species of Lepidemathis look like large editions of the related genus Emathis,[1] where the two species were originally described.[2]

Lepidemathis is about 10 mm long in females, and up to 13 in males.[1]

Name

The genus name is a combination of Ancient Greek lepis "scale" and the related salticid genus Emathis.
