Leptodactylus syphax is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are moist savanna, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, and rocky areas. It is threatened by habitat loss.
