Light Hall School is a secondary school and specialist college with academy status in Computing and Mathematics located in Shirley, West Midlands, England. It exceeds the national average of marks every year in both GCSEs and KS3[1] As of 2010 the headteacher was Vic Scutt, and the Deputy Headteacher Robert Barr. Light Hall School was established on Hathaway Road in the 1950s as a Boys Grammar School on land once belonging to Light Hall Farm.

Light Hall School is one of sixteen secondary schools in the UK Metropolitan Borough of Solihull. The school has over 1,250 students interested in I.C.T, Sports and Mathematics from the age of eleven to sixteen.

The school suffered from a fire in February 2006;[2] a new building was opened in October 2008 to replace the classrooms destroyed in the fire.[3] The new building has classrooms for Mathematics, English, Music and Drama. It also has a new dining hall, library and media studies classroom. The Design and Technology Block has Just been refurbished (April 2013)with a new CAD/CAM room which has a Laser and 3D printers.
