Linda Thomas-Greenfield (b. 1952, in Baker, Louisiana) is a US diplomat who serves as the Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs.[2]

She has also served as Director General of the Foreign Service and Director of Human Resources (2012–2013), Ambassador to Liberia (2008–2012), and Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (2004–2006).[2][3][4]
