Lindsay Riches
Lindsay Gordon Riches (18 February 1904 – 7 June 1972) was a South Australian politician.
He succeeded James Beerworth as longtime mayor of Port Augusta from 1936.
He represented Newcastle in the South Australian House of Assembly from 1933 to 1938 and Stuart from 1938 to 1970.
Riches was Speaker of the South Australian House of Assembly for the Frank Walsh and Don Dunstan Labor governments.
Honours
He was appointed CMG on 1 January 1967 and C.St.J. on 8 January 1970
