Lionel Vital (born July 15, 1963) is the director of player personnel for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He is a former American football running back for the Washington Redskins and in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Calgary Stampeders and Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was drafted by the Redskins in the seventh round of the 1985 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nicholls State University.

Vital was promoted from assistant director of player personnel by the Falcons when David Caldwell left the organization to become the general manager of the Jacksonville Jaguars. He used to be a scout for the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Cleveland Browns.
