Lisa Cameron (born 8 April 1972) is a Scottish National Party politician and Member of Parliament (MP) for East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow since May 2015.[1]
Early life
Lisa Cameron grew up in Westwood, East Kilbride, and was educated at East Milton Primary and Duncanrig Secondary School. She studied at Strathclyde University, graduating in psychology before obtaining her doctorate from Glasgow University.[1] Before becoming an MP, Cameron worked as a clinical psychologist in the NHS and as an assessor for the Scottish Risk Management Authority.[1]
Personal life
Dr Cameron is married with two children and lives in South Lanarkshire.[1]
