List of 2010 Commonwealth Games broadcasters

This is a list of broadcasters of the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, India from 3–14 October 2010. The host broadcast activities were provided by SIS Live,[1] in partnership with Prasar Bharati.[2]

Background

In New Zealand, the rights actually first scored by TVNZ which also covered the Pacific Islands in 2008.[3] In September 2009, it was reported that TVNZ were seeking to offload the rights to SKY TV to avoid NZ$5 million loss in the event,[4] and the deal was confirmed in January 2010 which backed by the local government.[5][6] Despite SKY is pay television broadcaster, however they still promises that the coverage still in free-to-air television.[7]
