The 1970s

During the 1970s Streisand was the second best selling-artist in the US. She only did nine concerts during the 1970s, while in the 1960s she did 43.

The 1980s

During the 1980s Streisand concentrated on her film career (Yentl, Nuts), and she did few live concerts. Her album Guilty and the hit single Woman in Love between them sold more than 26 - 27 million copies worldwide and topped more than 15 charts each one. A 1986 concert (One Voice) grossed nearly $1.5 million.

The 1990s

In December 1993 she started Barbra Streisand in Concert, which was her first tour since An Evening With Barbra Streisand in 1966. The tour grossed an average of $2 million per concert, with tickets costing from $50 to $300.

The 2000s

After the successful tour of 1994 Streisand promised another tour for 2000. That tour was called Timeless. She said that it would be her last tour and that possibly she "would retire" from the concert stage. She played Australia (Sydney and Melbourne) for the first time.

In 2006, she undertook the Streisand Tour and included European cities such as Paris, London, and Manchester. The tour was the second highest grossing tour of 2006 ($92 million).
