List of Christian hardcore bands

The Chariot, one of the most influential modern Christian hardcore bands.
Grace Like Winter a lesser known Christian hardcore band.

The following is a list of Christian hardcore bands, organized alphabetically.

Christian hardcore is a subgenre of hardcore punk primarily distinguished by its lyrical focus on Christian themes and values, although former Burden of a Day guitarist Bryan Honhart has suggested that the genre also possesses sonic distinctions.[1] Bands such as The Crucified, Focused, and No Innocent Victim are considered progenitors of the movement.[2] In recent years, Demon Hunter[3] and The Chariot[4] have gained considerable popularity among fans of the genre, while metalcore bands such as Underoath, As I Lay Dying, and Norma Jean have served as mainstream representatives of the genre.

This list consists of Christian bands that play hardcore punk, melodic hardcore, screamo, post-hardcore, emocore, Metallic hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, sludgecore, mathcore and grindcore, as well as crust punk.

They're a metal-hardcore-punk-emo-noise- band from Winnepeg, Manitoba Canada. Fronted by two female vocalists (Jacqui and Tanner), and this release can be found on Raising the Roof Records. I'm telling you, the four songs on this comp. by GLW are absolute hardcore mastery. I think that if you're a fan of Dillinger Escape Plan, Shai Hulud, Walls of Jericho, Zao, Eso-Charis, .hopesfall. you'd really love this band. They are very talented in all aspects of their music. From off time drumming, beautiful songwriting, insane guitar and very mature screaming/singing. These aren't the kind of girls who seem like their pissed off because it's their "time of the month" as I've heard it crudely put. They have conviction, style and grace to the way they put screaming to lyrics. They are a Christ centered band, but I really hope that doesn't put you off if you're not a Christian, because that would be a shame
