The following is a list of episodes from the American TV series, Dragon Tales, which ran from September 6, 1999 to April 11, 2005. The series was pulled off PBS Kids on August 31, 2010.

In all, Dragon Tales produced 108 episodes, 40 in the first season, 24 in the second, 29 in the third, and 15 in the fourth. There was also a special one-off episode called 'Let's Start a Band!' aired in 2003.

2	"To Kingdom Come / Goodbye, Little Caterpoozle[2]"	September 7, 1999
To Kingdom Come: Ord makes a wish which winds him and his friends up in Kingdom Come, a dragon paradise that no one can escape from. It's up to Ord to share his dragonberry cupcake with Mr. Marmadune to get out. Goodbye, Little Caterpoozle: Cassie has a new pet caterpoozle called Poozie. When Cassie finds Poozie wrapped in some white stuff, everybody thinks she died. However, it is later discovered that Poozie changed into a butter-fairy. Song: Touch
3	"Knot A Problem / Ord's Unhappy Birthday[2]"	September 8, 1999
Knot A Problem: The magic carousel ponies need the dragons' help to rescue the youngest horse, Winnie, who is lost in the forest. However, when they need to rescue Winnie from a canyon, Max doesn't know how to tie a knot to save her. Ord's Unhappy Birthday: It's Ord's birthday, but he thinks everyone is ignoring him. What he doesn't know is a surprise party is waiting for him. Song: Ord Shuffle
4	"Tails You Lose / Calling Dr. Zak[3]"	September 9, 1999
Tails You Lose: Emmy is tired of losing a new game the dragons are playing and quits, later realizing that winning isn't everything. Calling Dr. Zak: Zak is scared of going to the doctor when he gets a thorn in his foot, so Cassie suggests they play doctor to practice. Zak still feels a little nervous, and Quetzal advises him to go see Dr. Booboogone. Zak gets the thorn taken out of his foot just in time for the dance contest. Song: Try
5	"Pigment of Your Imagination / Zak's Song[4]"	September 10, 1999
Pigment of Your Imagination: Quetzal needs some colors from Rainbow Canyon and gives the friends a map. When the map breaks, however, the team must use their memory to piece it back together. 6	"Snow Dragons / The Fury Is Out On This One[5]"	September 20, 1999
Snow Dragons: Quetzal tells Max and Ord to meet him at the Snow Dragon in the Stickleback Mountains, but they get lost in the snow on the way. The Fury Is Out On This One: Max gets mad because he is too little to play a game of tag, and he kicks a cone, releasing a Fury, a magical creature that grows bigger as Max gets angrier. 7	"The Giant of Nod / The Big Sleepover[6]"	September 21, 1999
The Giant of Nod: Zak and Wheezie's fighting cause the Giant of Nod, a twelve-inch "giant" to trap them in a tree trunk. It's up to Zak and Wheeze's getting along to save them. The Big Sleepover: Cassie goes to Zak and Wheezie's sleepover, but she begins to miss her parents. Eventually, her friends come up with some solutions to the problem. Song: Betcha Can
8	"A Picture's Worth A Thousand Words / The Talent Pool[7]"	September 22, 1999
A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words: Ord and his friends search for Giggle Flowers for his mom's birthday. The Talent Pool: Cassie notices that all her friends have special talents except her, so she goes to the Talent Pool to finds a talent. However, the pool turns out to be grumpy and refuses to give Cassie a talent. Song: And The World Goes Round And Round
9	"Emmy's Dreamhouse / Dragon Sails[8]"	September 23, 1999
Emmy's Dreamhouse: A purple goo cloud is going to rain all over Dragon Land, and the friends try to build a tree house to shelter. However, Emmy wants everything to be her own way. Dragon Sails: The friends decide to sail to Rainbow Canyon, but Ord is too big for the boat and feels bad. Later, Ord saves the boat from going over a waterfall and feels better. Song: Doodli-Do
10	"Eggs Over Easy / A Liking To Biking[9]"	September 24, 1999
Eggs Over Easy: Cyrus the Slinky Serpent steals a Rhyme Bird egg and Cassie feels bad she didn't speak up when needed. It's up to her learning to speak up to get the egg back. A Liking To Biking: Max and Emmy teach Cassie and Ord how to ride a bicycle. Song: And The World Goes Round And Round
11	"Sky Pirates / Four Little Pigs[10]"	October 4, 1999
Sky Pirates: The friends help a sky pirate captain uncover some buried treasure. Four Little Pigs: The friends put on a puppet show of "The Three Little Pigs" but trouble arises when Zak and Wheezie want to play the wolf, but Emmy won't let them. Song: Shake Your Dragon Tail
12	"Zak And The Beanstalk / A Feat On Her Feet[11]"	October 5, 1999
Zak And The Beanstalk: Zak, Wheezie, Max and Emmy climb up the beanstalk to rescue the Do-Rey-Mi birds from Mungus, a giant living in the clouds above Dragon Land. A Feat On Her Feet: Cassie must learn to rollerskate so she can deliver some Jingle Flowers to Singing Springs on time. Song: Zoo
13	"Not Separated At Birth / A Kite For Quetzal[12]"	October 6, 1999
Not Separated At Birth: Zak and Wheezie are tired of being fused together, so Quetzal gives them a crystal that separates them. However, when they build a musical playground, they discover they may need each other more than previously thought. A Kite For Quetzal: Quetzal falls ill and can't participate in a kite-flying contest, so the friends enter for him. Song: And The World Goes Round And Round
14	"Dragon Drop / Cassie Loves A Parade[13]"	October 7, 1999
Dragon Drop: The friends have a fun day at the carnival, and Zak and Wheezie enter the Sackberry Toss contest. Cassie Loves A Parade: Cassie is in despair when she isn't chosen to ride on the book float in a parade and runs off. When her friends find her, they all discover a way to help Cassie feel better. 15	"A Cool School / Max's Comic Adventure[14]"	October 8, 1999
A Cool School: Max is nervous about his first day of school, so Quetzal invites him to spend a day at the School In The Sky with the dragons. Max's Comic Adventure: Max takes his 3D glasses with him to Dragon Land, which leads him on a quest to save his favorite comic book hero, Mondo Mouse, from the Catnapper. 16	"It Happened One Nightmare / Staying Within The Lines[15]"	October 18, 1999
It Happened One Nightmare: Ord has a nightmare and won't go back to sleep, causing everyone else problems. Staying Within The Lines: Quetzal and the Dragons ask Max and Emmy to recolor a black-and-white Dragon Land when the color was washed out by a storm. However, Max has trouble coloring within lines. 17	"Follow The Dots / A Smashing Success[16]"	October 19, 1999
Follow The Dots: The friends meet Norm the Number Gnome and play a game. A Smashing Success: A concert is coming up in Dragon Land, but Emmy accidentally breaks Wheezie's trumpet and is afraid to tell what she did. Song: And The World Goes Round And Round
18	"Quibbling Siblings / Wheezie's Hairball[17]"	October 20, 1999
Quibbling Siblings: Wheezie is making Zak's mission to find a Jugglebug hard, and Zak isn't pleased about it. Max and Emmy then try to talk to Wheezie about his problem. Wheezie's Hairball:Wheezie gets a new pet hairball and learns how to take care of it. Song: Wake Up
19	"A Tall Tale / Stormy Weather[18]"	October 21, 1999
A Tall Tale: Max is tired of being little and wishes he were taller. However, when the gang has to search for a unicorn's lost glasses, he discovers that being short may be useful for some things after all. Stormy Weather: The gang travels to a playground in the clouds, but a storm occurs and Ord is scared. Song: And The World Goes Round And Round
20	"Blowin' In The Wind / No Hitter[19]"	October 22, 1999
Blowin' In The Wind: Max, Emmy, and their dragon friends help a wind called Windy learn to whistle so she can blow away the clouds. No Hitter: Max is angry because he isn't getting his way in a ball game, and expresses his anger in the wrong way. Quetzal teaches Max to, "use your words; not your fists," when he gets upset. Song: Be A Dragon Note: This is the last two episode set to air in 1999.
21	"Do Not Pass Gnome / The Treasure Hunt[20]"	January 17, 2000
Do Not Pass Gnome: When Max breaks Emmy's yo-yo, the gang has to play a game of Simon Says to fix it. The Treasure Hunt: The gang enters a treasure hunt, but when they find the treasure, they are trapped inside the cave. Song: Touch
22	"The Jumping Bean Express / Get Offa My Cloud[21]"	January 18, 2000
The Jumping Bean Express: Quetzal asks his friends to deliver a pair of jumping beans to his brother Hernando across the Stickleback Mountains, but the beans keep escaping. Get Offa My Cloud: Max accidentally makes a carrot grow giant, trapping him high up on a cloud. Song: Clap
23	"Backwards To Forwards / Sounds Like Trouble[22]"	January 19, 2000
Backwards To Forwards: While playing a game of dragon leap, Zak and Wheezie accidentally knock a rock down onto a sign called the Backwards-Forwards sign that causes everything in Dragon Land to go in reverse. Now they must figure out which sign is the Backwards-Forwards sign to turn everything forward. Sounds Like Trouble: The friends chase a goo ball into a cave, and it's up to Ord to brave his fear of the dark once more to find it. Song: Betcha Can
24	"The Greatest Show In Dragon Land / Prepare According To Instructions[23]"	January 20, 2000
The Greatest Show In Dragon Land: The friends go through many obstacles to get to a theme park called Wonderworld. Prepare According To Instructions: The friends set off to find a cave full of dancing crystals, but they don't follow the map and get lost. Song: Pretend

Wheezie's Last Laugh: The friends meet a gnome who likes to mix up sounds and he steals Wheezie's laugh. Frog Prints: Max finds a Unicroaker in a pond and wants to keep it, but his friends say it must be let go. Song: Wiggle

Crash Landings: Max and Emmy coach a relay race in Dragon Land. The Big Cake Mixup: The friends enter a baking contest, but they end up baking something very different from what they expected. Song: Cassie

Quetzal's Magic Pop-Up Book: The friends travel into Quetzal's magic pop-up book, where anything they imagine can become real. My Way Or Snow Way: The friends help a snowman called Chilly find his snow puppy, Nippy. Song: Hum
28	"Sand Castle Hassle / True Blue Friend"	January 26, 2000
Sand Castle Hassle: The gant tries to build sand castles for Turtle Dragons to lay their eggs in, but the tide destroys them every time they try to build. True Blue Friend: The gang inadvertently uses permanent paint and turn themselves into different colors. They must follow Quetzal's instructions in order to get the paint off. Zak Takes A Dive: The gang goes scuba diving, but Zak doesn't know how to scuba dive. Under The Weather: The gang must investigate why the weather in Dragon Land is behaving so oddly. Song: Zoo
30	"My Emmy Or Bust / Light My Firebreath"	January 28, 2000
My Emmy Or Bust: Max is summoned to Dragon Land while Emmy is at the store and accompanies the dragons on an underwater mission. Light My Firebreath: Wheezie drinks a plump gump flower which causes her to be unable to breathe fire. Song: Dance
31	"Follow The Leader / Max And The Magic Carpet"	April 17, 2000
Follow The Leader: While playing a game, Emmy is kidnapped by Pooky the troll. Max And The Magic Carpet: Max finds a magic carpet and becomes so caught up in flying on it that he starts ignoring Ord, making Ord feel sad. Song: Hello Song
32	"Rope Trick / Baby Troubles"	April 18, 2000
Rope Trick: Zak and Wheezie spill a bottle of potion on a jump rope and cause it to come to life. Baby Troubles: The friends have to babysit Cassie's baby sister Kiki, but trouble arises when her squishy toy is crushed and she won't go to sleep without it. Song: Be A Dragon
33	"Small Time / Roller Coaster Dragon"	April 19, 2000
Small Time: Upon entering Dragon Land, Max and Emmy encounter a shrinking violet, causing them to shrink down to the size of insects. Roller Coaster Dragon: Wheezie is desperate to ride the new roller coaster, but the next ride won't be for ten minutes. Song: Silly Song
34	"Up, Up And Away / A Wild Time"	April 20, 2000
Up, Up And Away: Ord gets trapped in a huge bubble and his friends must rescue him. A Wild Time: Max wants to goof off when he goes to Dragon Land, but he ends up ruining the dragons' craft projects for the Dragon Scale Festival. Song: And The World Goes Round And Round
35	"Bad Share Day / Whole Lotta Maracas Goin' On"	April 21, 2000
Bad Share Day: Cassie shows everyone her new magic crayon and things get out of control when she shares it with everyone and has trouble asking for him back so she can do something important. Whole Lotta Maracas Goin' On: It's Teacher's Day in Dragon Land and the friends decide to surprise Quetzal by fixing his broken maracas. Song: Betcha Can
36	"Ord Sees The Light / The Ugly Dragling"	April 24, 2000
Ord Sees The Light: Max finds his Dragonfrog friend, Hoppy, but Hoppy keeps hopping away, and Ord must brave his fear of the dark yet again to find him. The Ugly Dragling: The gang meets a dragon called Priscilla who has huge feathers and is afraid everyone can laugh at her. Song: Ord Shuffle
37	"Out With The Garbage / Lights, Camera, Dragons"	April 25, 2000
Out With The Garbage: Zak accidentally throws away Wheezie's prized collection of items, and they must go to the dump to retrieve them. Lights, Camera, Dragons: Max and Emmy bring a movie camera to Dragon Land and decide to film Ord's new mouse named Cheddar, but Cheddar runs away. Song: Ord Shuffle
38	"Bully For You / The Great White Cloud Whale"	April 26, 2000
Bully For You: A new dragon called Spike comes to the School In The Sky, and he bullies Cassie on a sugar plum-picking expedition. The Great White Cloud Whale: The friends help the sky pirate captain Scaliwag find the Great White Cloud Whale, who swallowed his ship. Song: Be A Dragon
39	"To Do Or Not to Do / Much Ado About Nodlings"	April 27, 2000
To Do or Not to Do: When Cassie's friends get trapped inside a huge Dragonrhino, they try to tell her to do what they think to escape, but Cassie wants to try her own idea. Much Ado About Nodlings: Max's toy truck ruins a Nodling wagon and the Giant of Nod is annoyed. Can the friends fix the wagon and set the situation right? Song: Try
40	"Don't Bug Me! / Over And Over"	April 28, 2000
Don't Bug Me!: Ord must brave his fear of bugs to find a rare and elusive butterfly for Quetzal. Over and Over: Max can't swing on the monkey bars, and he wants to learn, but he just can't do it. However, when Ord gets trapped in sap, it's up to Max to swing to the rescue. Song: Doodli-Do

Big Funky Cloud: Ord's favorite blanket goes down the Lost Forever hole and he has a Big Funky Cloud over him now he is sad, so the friends try to remove the cloud by using methods to make Ord feel better. A New Friend: Lorca, a dragon in a wheelchair, comes to the School In The Sky and leads the friends on an exciting treasure hunt. Head Over Heels: Quetzal tells the friends to deliver some soup to his ill brother Fernando, but they must pass a grumpy troll who tells people that the only way to get over his bridge is to cartwheel. So Long Solo: Zak and Wheezie are practicing for a talent show, but Wheezie's trumpet keeps scaring away the Jugglebug. Zak needs for the practice. Hands Together: On Dragontines' Day, the friends participate in a special dance, but Ord can't seem to get the moves right. Song: Silly Song

Sneezy Does It: The friends help the Big Whistling Wind get over a cold. Try It, You'll Like It: Zak is scared of the new additions to the Dragon Land amusement park, and the others must try to show him that new things are not so bad. Song: Stretch

The Grudge Won't Budge: Zak and Wheezie hold grudges against each other and then a large animal called a Grudge appears and won't move unless Zak and Wheezie stop holding grudges against each other. Season 3 (2005)

This is the third and final season of Dragon Tales. From 2005 onwards, the PBS Kids Dragon Tales block would usually include one new episode and one episode from the second season.

Big, Big Friends Day was a special lineup for November 25, 2005. It served as the series finale for Dragon Tales, although the third season concluded in April of that year. It included episodes from Dragon Tales, episodes from Sesame Workshop's new series It's a Big Big World, and episodes from other PBS cartoons of the time, such as Clifford the Big Red Dog

Circle of Friends: Max is bad at drawing circles, and so his dragon friends try to help him. In the end, Max's circles improve, and he feels better.
