If Loving You Is Wrong is an American primetime television soap opera If Loving You Is Wrong is loosely based on Perry's 2014 film The Single Moms Club.

Alex takes a pregnancy test because everyone thinks she's pregnant. Meanwhile her husband Brad loves his job more than he loves her, but wants to make up for it. Randal is having an affair with Alex, but he finds out that Brad had a vasectomy. Marcie and maybe Randal want to have children but they're having a hard time. Esperanza deals with her ex-husband Eddie who wants to control her life(despite him being remarried and having children) because she has a new boyfriend, Julius. Eddie picks on Randal for unknown reasons. Kelly wants to buy a house for her boyfriend and kids, but her boyfriend Travis is overseas and acting strange. Natalie is dealing with her son who’s in jail for selling drugs and wondering if she should let him come home or stay in jail. Lushion is the father of Natalie's youngest son, who’s want to help her with all her struggles, and that’s the reason he moved back to town, but he can’t a get a job (he used to be a cop) and this annoys Natalie. At the end of the episode Alex tells Brad that she’s pregnant but he knows it can’t be by him. Note: The character Esperanza is played by and based on the same character from The Single Moms Club. The character Natalie is based on the character “Lytia Wright” from The Single Moms Club. Differences from the movie: (1) The girls meet because their kids are on the same sports team; unlike the movie where their kids got into trouble. (2) Esperanza’s story is retold and her ex-husband is more violent.

Brad knows that Alex must be cheating and he tries to find out who. Randal comes by Brad and Alex’s house to convince him to tell Alex about getting a vasectomy. After Randal gets some coffee and decides to drink from the mug that says: “I–heart-Alex.” Alex catches him and forces Randal to use a different mug. Lushion tries to ask Eddie for a job at the police station because he works there, but when Lushion sees him abusing Esperanza, he jumps in and later refuses to get any help from him. Marcie just wants to be a part of the girls group but they’re distant towards her. The girls go to check out a house for Kelly but the girls carpool in Alex’s car leaving Marcie to drive alone and feeling left out. Kelly buys the house and calls Travis but a girl answers the phone and she questions Kelly about being Travis’ girlfriend and then hangs up on her. Kelly is in denial. Back at Alex’s house Marcie is in the kid's bedroom crying and she tells Alex (her so called: ‘best friend’) that she thinks her husband Randal is cheating on her with woman that can have kids, because she still can’t get pregnant. After Randal talks to Alex asking her why Brad is angry at her, Eddie intervenes. Esperanza comes back home to find out Eddie broke in and has gone through her things. Now knowing the name of her new boyfriend, he storms off in a rage seeking Julius. Esperanza warns Julius, but it’s too late. Eddie pulls him over, shoots him in the leg and then calls for back-up on the radio.

Esperanza interrogates Edward about the whereabouts of her boyfriend Julius. Out of desperation, she threatens Edward by mentioning that she will tell his boss what he has done. Meanwhile, Brad suspects that Alex is having an affair, and asks Randal for his help. Then, Natalie reaches the end of her rope in her attempts to care for her kids alone, and she calls the parole board to get Joey out of prison. Later, while Kelly and the girls move her things into her new house, Alex reveals to Randal that she is pregnant. Finally, Julius plans to get revenge on Eddie.

Travis comes back from his missions trip in Haiti with and drops a bombshell on Kelly. Meanwhile Esperanza finds out that Julius' father is the head of a cartel in Colombia.

Kelly's world is rocked when Travis reveals that he is engaged to another woman. Meanwhile, Alex tries to confirm that Brad is the father of her child.

After Eddie's house gets sprayed with gunfire, he launches an investigation into Julius. Tensions heat up when Julius shows up at the police station—and then at Esperanza's house. Meanwhile, Jackie encourages Natalie to get Joey a job at Burger Fast, and Lushion finally has an interview at the police station. Elsewhere, Travis goes to see Kelly with the hopes of remaining in her life. When Kelly drops off Travis' things at his parents' house, she gets an earful from his mother, Mattaline, who makes it clear that her only issue with Kelly is her age. During a game night at Alex and Brad's house, a game of truth with Randal and Marcie leads to some awkward moments for everyone.

Marcie has discovered the truth about Randal's affair; she makes a scene at Brad's birthday party. Everyone is thinking that it was Kelly who was having an affair with Randal, it is later revealed that it was Alex who was 'Peppa'. Brad and Edward both attack Randal and beat him up for the deception.

Eddie is rushed to the hospital after getting shot in the last episode; While struggling for his life Esperanza is distraught but things worsen when Eddie's wife shows up; Travis comes to Kelly's job and she finds herself tempted; Brad helps Peter with his Mother's Day homework and Peter gets suspicious.

Marcie tells the neighbors about the Randal-Alex affair and Brad threatens Randal; The next day Alex comes to Kelly's to talk about her feelings of Marcie's behavior but she doesn't realize that Marcie is behind her; Eddie finally feels guilt over his actions; Natalie begs Lushion to quit the force but when his confronted by the police chief about Eddie he hesitates to answer; Meanwhile Alex packs the kids clothes and plans to move out, but when Peter tells Brad to forgive her. He starts to have second thoughts on the situation; Alex goes into labor but when she refuses Randal's help to get her to the hospital. He kidnaps her for own good. The episode ends when the doctor insists on seeing Brad before seeing the baby.

The girls try to get Brad to calm down after learing that he isn't the father of Alex's newborn baby boy and in fact it is Randal's Child , Alex refuses to see the baby; Eddie is back in his old ways but this time with a new woman and partner a rookie police officer named Ben who like Eddie is also a drug addict ; Meanwhile, Marcie gets a surprise visit from her mother-in-law, Louise who is looking for her son Randal and hasn't heard from him in days and back at the hospital Randal tries to see Alex.

The ladies show support for Alex as she deals with giving birth to Randal's child and refuses to take her medicine; Randal's mother, Louise takes control of the house; Lushion tries to pursue the security footage from the crime-scene; The doctor comes to visit Brad to convince him to go see Alex but he refuses ; Kelly gives Travis some payback; and Esperanza goes off on Eddie for having a women in her house and using her perfume

Alex dreams of how her affair with Randal got started; Brad decides to visit Alex in the hospital but to only get his heart crushed; and Lushion plans to pursue Eddie.

Louise gives up information about Randal's attraction to blonde women with blue eyes; Eddie is given orders not to come back to work and Lucion is given orders by Steven to stop pursuing Eddie; Meanwhile back at Kelly's the girls discuss Natalie buying a new house; Later that night Randal finds Brad in his shed but Brad isn't acting like himself afterward Randal sneaks into the hospital to see Alex; Finally Brad and Marcie confess their feelings and the episode ends with Brad carrying Marcie in the shed, but little do they know Louise is watching them.

Someone tries to break-in Kelly's neighbor's house; Pete the new guy is taking care of things his own way and ends up running into Eddie at the store with the security footage; Ben, Eddie's punk threatens the nurse; Alex calls home and Paisley answers to find out that Brad is no where to be found, so she calls Kelly to go look for him; When Randal gets home he finds Kelly lurking around and Louise pulls him in the backyard; The episode ends with Randal exposing Brad and Marcie having sex in the shed.
26	6	"Being A Woman"	October 27, 2015	2.44[27]
Continuing from the last episode everyone is dealing with the aftermath Marcie and Brad in the shed; Natalie covers for Joey when her boss calls; Lushion haves "The Talk" with Joey; Ramsy (the Nosy-Neighbors' son) comes to thank Kelly while Travis is visiting; Eddie tries to get back to work but his commanding officer refuses to let him back in.

Brad visits Alex at the hospital; Julius gives Quan two options to pay his debt; Back at Burger Fast, Natalie has a talk with Joey and Faun; Kelly get a call from Travis to make things right and she gets a visit from Ramsy; Eddie and Ben are after Pete, but they don't realize that Pete is smarter than he looks; and Miss Louise and Marcie see eye-to-eye for once.

Eddie confronts Brad about the baby's minority; Marcie comes to Louise for advice; Natalie gets some surprising information about Lushion; Ramsy needs Kelly to call Marcie but she's still avoiding her; Pete has finished watching the security footage at the police station, after Eddie and Ben corner him in the locker-room; and back at the hospital Brad continues to torment Alex; Faun, still after Joey, decides to visit him at work, but she doesn't realize that Quan is following her; the episode ends with Randal choking Marcie.

Louise is trying to pull Randal off of Marice; Julius gets a warning from his father; Eddie is still pursuing Ben, but back at home Esperenza kicks him out the house; Natalie is looking for Lushion and tells Esperenza to pursue Eddie; Alex tells Kelly and the girls to leave her alone and that they’re no longer friends; Meanwhile down-south Brad goes to visit Rusty (Alex’s father).The episode ends with Randal coming back to the hospital to visit his son.

Because of his betrayal, Brad taunts Randal but it leads to a fight at the hospital; Joey's and Fahn's actions has as overseen consequences; Ramsy opens up to Kelly and Travis by; Eddie pursues Claudia as Pete pursues Eddie

As Marcie goes to help Ramsey with the house he congratulated her on the baby, making her confused. Marcie see a sign that says its a boy, which means that Randal and Alex have a child. Randal taunts her about finally having a child. Distraught, Marcie goes to Brad's house to see if it is true, which she ends up running back to her house and throwing up. Randal's mom offers her $14,000 to leave, saying that no one should have to deal with what she is going through. Edward plans out something vicious.

The truth behind Rusty and Alex’s relationship is revealed; Brad regrets his motives when he finds out the baby maybe in danger; Randal steals Marcie’s credit card and buys $3,800 worth of baby clothes; Natalie kicks Lushion out when he refuses to tell her the truth about the money; Pete calls 9-1-1 when his walkie-talkie is ignored and Ben is forced to make a tough decision.
