List of IndyCar Series racetracks

This is a list of racetracks which have hosted an INDYCAR Series race between 1996 and 2015. 40 different tracks have hosted a race, 24 of which are ovals, and the other 16 are permanent or temporary road circuits. Additionally, the Grand Prix of Road America and the Grand Prix of Boston are scheduled to debut in 2016. Five nations have hosted a race as yet: the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia[note 1] and Brazil.
