List of Istanbul Metro stations

Istanbul network with lines and extensions under construction through 2019, and including proposed lines and extensions.

The Istanbul Metro has 70 stations in operation on five metro lines. 54 are on the European side while 16 are on the Asian side. The first stations to open were Aksaray, Emniyet—Fatih, Topkapı—Ulubatlı, Bayrampaşa—Maltepe, Sağmalcılar and Kocatepe all which opened on 3 September 1989 on the M1. The system currently has 31 stations under construction and many more planned.

Under construction stations

There are 31 stations under construction. These stations will serve the M5 and M7 (Şişli-Mahmutbey) lines. It is expected that up to 15 of these stations will open in 2015.
