List of Kamen Rider Ghost characters

Kamen Rider Ghost (仮面ライダーゴースト Kamen Raidā Gōsuto) is a Japanese tokusatsu drama in the Kamen Rider Series, written by Takuro Fukuda.

Daitenkū-ji

Daitenkū-ji (大天空寺)[lower-alpha 1] is a fictional Buddhist temple in Kamen Rider Ghost which has been taken care of by the Tenkūji family for generations. It is the home and base of operations for the series' main characters.

Takeru Tenkūji

Takeru Tenkūji (天空寺 タケル Tenkūji Takeru) is an 18-year-old man who is the current heir to Daitenkū-ji. Ten years earlier, his father left him home as he went on a ghost hunting expedition. Before his father apparently died, he sent Takeru a gift of the tsuba from Miyamoto Musashi's katana which he wears on a necklace. As well as his interest in Miyamoto Musashi, Takeru enjoys reading from a book titled Stories of the World's Greatest People (世界偉人伝 Sekai Ijinden) and learning about the history and legends of famous historical figures. Wishing to follow in his father's footsteps as a ghost hunter, Takeru laments being unable to see ghosts, which neither Akari nor Onari believe exist, until he receives an item called an Eyecon (眼魂(アイコン) Aikon)[lower-alpha 2] on his 18th birthday, a gift meant for him should his father have truly died. This allows him to see the monstrous ghosts known as Gamma who then attack and kill him, as they are after the Eyecon themselves. He is brought back to life by a mysterious hermit who grants him the ability to transform into Kamen Rider Ghost to fight the Gamma. The hermit tells Takeru he has 99 days to gather the 15 Eyecons of great men from history in order to fully come back to life through the Eyecon Monolith in his bedroom, as the hermit's magic is not powerful enough to truly restore him to life. However, after seeing his childhood friend Makoto Fukami become the cold Kamen Rider Specter as a result of his sister Kanon's body being trapped in the Gamma's world. When all 15 Eyecons are gathered by Chikara Saionji, Takeru's pure heart and willpower to be a Kamen Rider allows him to be uncorrupted by the Monolith's magic and he passes on getting his life back so Kanon can be saved.

As Kamen Rider Ghost, Takeru uses the Ghost Driver (ゴーストドライバー Gōsuto Doraibā) and the Ghost Eyecons to transform. Without an accompanying Eyecon containing the spirit of himself, or a historical figure, Kamen Rider Ghost remains in a form called Transient (トランジェント Toranjento) which lacks any powers. However, the Eyecons call upon a spirit which takes the form of a Hoodie Ghost (パーカーゴースト Pākā Gōsuto) and transforms Kamen Rider Ghost into one of his Damashii ()[lower-alpha 3] forms. His primary form is known as Ore Damashii (オレ魂, literally "My Soul"), accessed from the Ghost Eyecon which contains Takeru's own soul. Among Kamen Rider Ghost's powers in this form is the ability to float, and his finishing move is the Omega Drive (オメガドライブ Omega Doraibu) Rider Kick. Kamen Rider Ghost's main weapon is the Gan Gun Saber (ガンガンセイバー Gan Gan Seibā), which has multiple modes depending on which Damashii form he has taken; some have their own unique weapons as part of the form itself. The default Blade Mode's finishing move is the Omega Break (オメガブレイク Omega Bureiku), while the alternative Naginata Mode has the Omega Stream (オメガストリーム Omega Sutorīmu) attack. His motorcycle is a Honda CRF250L called the Machine Ghostriker (マシンゴーストライカー Mashin Gōsutoraikā), which can combine with the Captain Ghost (キャプテンゴースト Kyaputen Gōsuto) flying ghost ship to become the Iguana Ghostriker (イグアナゴーストライカー Iguana Gōsutoraikā). When Takeru finds the spirit of an historical figure, it can become another Eyecon and grant Kamen Rider Ghost new powers:[1]

After nearly disappearing forever, Takeru's father Ryū Tenkūji's soul becomes an Eyecon that allows Takeru to remain on Earth and also transforms Kamen Rider Ghost into Toucon Boost Damashii (闘魂ブースト魂 Tōkon Būsuto Damashii, Fighting Spirit Boost Damashii).[lower-alpha 5] With his increased strength also comes a weapon known as the Sunglasseslasher (サングラスラッシャー Sangurasurasshā), which can alternate between Sword Mode and Blaster Mode. The Sunglasseslasher can hold two Ghost Eyecons for Kamen Rider Ghost to execute one of two attacks: the Omega Shine (オメガシャイン Omega Shain) in Sword Mode or the Omega Flash (オメガフラッシュ Omega Furasshu) in Blaster Mode. The Toucon Boost Eyecon revives Takeru for his third chance to live in the mortal world, extending his day limit back to 99 more days to find the missing awakened Ghost Eyecons. Toucon Boost's Transient form also serves as the basis for several new and more powerful Ghost Eyecons that Kamen Rider Ghost acquires (although he can also transform into more powerful versions of his other forms, as well as the other Riders' forms):

Takeru later obtains another, more powerful driver called the Eyecon Driver G (アイコンドライバーG Aikon Doraibā Jī), which allows him to transform into Grateful Damashii (グレイトフル魂 Gureitofuru Damashī). This form allows him to use the powers of all fifteen Damashiis without needing to switch Eyecons. Its utimate attack is the Mega Omega Formation (メガオメガフォーメーション Mega Omega Fōmēshon) Rider Kick. Kamen Rider Ghost can also perform a normal Omega Formation (オメガフォーメーション Omega Fōmēshon) where he attacks an enemy simultaneously with any Hoodie Ghosts summoned at the time. The Eyecon Driver G was created by Edith in order for the Gamma emperor Adonis (later Adel) to harness the powers of the Gammisers until Takeru takes it while reclaiming his stolen Eyecons. However, when Takeru transforms with this belt while the Gammisers are activated under Adel's command, Kamen Rider Ghost Grateful Damashii is electrocuted and temporarily paralyzed, which even lasts several minutes after Takeru deactivates the transformation.

In other Kamen Rider Ghost media, Kamen Rider Ghost has access to other Damashii forms that do not appear in the canon of the TV series. These include:

Takeru Tenkūji is portrayed by Shun Nishime (西銘 駿 Nishime Shun).[6] As a child, Takeru is portrayed by Hinata Yamada (山田 日向 Yamada Hinata).

Akari Tsukimura

Akari Tsukimura (月村 アカリ Tsukimura Akari) is Takeru's childhood friend, although she is one year older at 19. She is currently a college student majoring in physics. She finds it difficult to believe in any of the supernatural activity happening around her, even after Takeru dies and is brought back to life to be Kamen Rider Ghost. She assures herself that there is always a rational explanation for what has happened, even Takeru's resurrection, and particularly now that she too has seen Gamma after handling the Musashi Eyecon temporarily. Sometime later, she stumbles into Takeru's room and sees the Monolith there, and Takeru tells her that he has 99 days left or he will be dead for good. With the hermit's help, she develops a special spray called "Shiranui" (不知火) that allows her to see ghosts like Kamen Rider Ghost and the Gammas without needing an Eyecon. The hermit warns Akari that the Shiranui spray's effects are very limited, particularly when there is very little left, and it is up to her to keep developing more of the Shiranui formula on her own. She is later given the Kumo Lantern, which can be used in place of the Shiranui formula to allow her to see Kamen Rider Ghost and Gammas with its flames. During Alain's next move as Kamen Rider Necrom, Akari finds a piece of a Gamma Eyecon to upgrade her Shiranui formula into Mark 2, which turns the formula into a weapon to protect herself from Gammas.

Akari Tsukimura is portrayed by Hikaru Ohsawa (大沢 ひかる Ōsawa Hikaru).[6] As a child, Akari is portrayed by Chinami Yoshioka (吉岡 千波 Yoshioka Chinami).

Onari Yamanouchi

Onari Yamanouchi (山ノ内 御成 Yamanouchi Onari) is a 26-year-old Buddhist monk who is the current caretaker of Daitenkū-ji, as Takeru is still too young to handle the role himself. While both he and Akari witness Takeru's death and resurrection, Onari is more open to believing in the supernatural, much to Akari's chagrin. Onari lacks Akari's calm nature, and often expresses his frustrations He is not spiritually aware enough to see Gamma, nor has he ever had an Eyecon to see them either, but the Shiranui spray and the Kumo Lantern allow him to see spirits like Kamen Rider Ghost and the Gammas.

Onari is portrayed by Takayuki Yanagi (柳 喬之 Yanagi Takayuki).[6]

Shibuya & Narita

Shibuya (シブヤ) and Narita (ナリタ) are two ascetic monks training at Daitenkū-ji. They were assigned to work in investigating paranormal phenomena while they also helped Onari and Takeru track down Eyecons in the city, but Shibuya often jumps to conclusions that cause more harm than good while Narita is more laidback to his duties.

Shibuya and Narita are portrayed by Takuya Mizoguchi (溝口 琢矢 Mizoguchi Takuya) and Reo Kansyuji (勧修寺 玲旺 Kanshūji Reo) respectively.[6]

Yasushi Onodera

Yasushi Onodera (小野寺 靖 Onodera Yasushi) is the local mailman who serves Daitenkū-ji. He also helps Takeru out in finding Eyecons, as he can travel throughout the city more easily than either Shibuya or Narita. Before Takeru's father, Ryu dies at the hands of the Gamma, Onodera was, told by him to send the Eyecon he found earlier, which was meant for a birthday of his son, Takeru, once the boy has grown up well.

Yasushi Onodera is portrayed by Yasuomi Sano (佐野 泰臣 Sano Yasuomi)

The hermit

A mysterious hermit (仙人 sennin) is the one who brings Takeru back to life and instructs him on how to become Kamen Rider Ghost. Takeru believes him to be a god, but the hermit denies this. After helping Takeru, the hermit takes up residence in the basement of Daitenkū-ji to keep watch on Takeru as he seeks out the remaining Eyecons.

The hermit is portrayed by Naoto Takenaka (竹中 直人 Takenaka Naoto).[6]

Yurusen

Yurusen (ユルセン) is a sprite who serves as the hermit's familiar. It helps Takeru out as Kamen Rider Ghost in the field.

Yurusen is voiced by Aoi Yūki (悠木 碧 Yūki Aoi).[6]

Ryū Tenkūji

Ryū Tenkūji (天空寺 龍 Tenkūji Ryū) is Takeru's father and the previous caretaker of Daitenkū-ji. Ten years ago he left on a ghost hunting expedition with his old friends Chikara Saionji and Kenjirō Igarashi on researching the Eyecon monolith, and came across an Eyecon. Along the way, Ryū discovered the existence of the Gammas and was worried that if they do not hold back on their research, the Gammas will be unleashed upon the world. Ryū leads the expedition to try to save Makoto and Kanon Fukami from the Gamma's world, but when he fails, he encourages Igarashi not to give up hope in saving the siblings. Some time later, Ryū is killed by a Gamma that has been let loose by Saionji, leaving Igarashi traumatized. Sometime before his death, he managed to sends off the tsuba from Miyamoto Musashi's sword to Takeru and instructs his son to learn about history's greatest heroes. He also ensures that Takeru will be sent the Ghost Eyecon upon his 18th birthday.

During the events of the film Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Ghost & Drive: Super Movie War Genesis, after his death, his soul fuses with an Eyecon, transforming it into the Toucon Boost Eyecon which gives Kamen Rider Ghost the ability to transform into Toucon Boost Damashii. Then in the TV series, his Toucon Boost Ghost Eyecon still exists in the netherworld, reviving Takeru for a third chance to live, extending his day limit back to 99 more days for his son to find other missing awoken Ghost Eyecons.

Ryū Tenkūji is portrayed by Kazuhiko Nishimura (西村 和彦 Nishimura Kazuhiko).[6]

Kenjirō Igarashi

Kenjirō Igarashi (五十嵐 健次郎 Igarashi Kenjirō) is a physicist who is Ryū Tenkūji's old research associate into the Eyecons and Gammas. He sought a way to save the Fukami siblings from the Eyecon monolith but was unsuccessful because of Ryū's death as a result of protecting Takeru from a Gamma's attack 10 years in the past. This has left the professor traumatized and anti-social, particularly after he discovers that his and Ryū's former colleague Saionji has betrayed them. In the present day, Takeru tracks him down for help, which reignites his passion in the research to save the two, unaware that Makoto has freed himself and Kanon remains trapped in some fashion. He is targeted by the Green Dragon Blade Gamma because he still has the Benkei Ghost Eyecon, which he soon gives to Takeru.

Kenjirō Igarashi is portrayed by Moro Morooka (モロ師岡).

Fukami siblings

The Fukami siblings are childhood friends of Takeru and Akari who disappeared into an Eyecon Monolith 10 years ago, but both came back through unknown means, although both not the way they originally were. Ryū Tenkūji made it his mission to retrieve them, with help from Chikara Saionji and Kenjirō Igarashi, until his untimely death.

Makoto Fukami

Makoto Fukami (深海 マコト Fukami Makoto) is one of Takeru's childhood friends who along with his sister disappeared into the Gamma's dimension and raised there 10 years ago, but they have both come back through unknown means. Following his return to the living world, Makoto gained a Ghost Driver and a Ghost Eyecon that allows him to transform into Kamen Rider Specter (仮面ライダースペクター Kamen Raidā Supekutā) so he too can battle Gammas to collect the 15 Ghost Eyecons. However, he is also after Kamen Rider Ghost's own Eyecons and stops at nothing to steal them so he can have his own wish granted: to bring his sister's body back from the Gamma's dimension. He even aligns himself with Chikara Saionji and Alain to reach his goal, and fights Kamen Rider Ghost and the Gammas to get the missing Eyecons. However, Saionji is merely using him to collect the Eyecons for him, and when all 15 are gathered, and Kanon is kidnapped by Saionji and the Green Dragon Blade Gamma, forcing Makoto to do his bidding. Takeru confronts him and promises that he will save Makoto's sister, breaking the other man's cold exterior to realize despite everything, Takeru still considers him a friend. After Kanon is saved, Makoto promises to help Takeru find the Eyecons once more so he can return to life. Makoto plans to return to the Gamma World on his own, feeling that he has unfinished business within it, and leaves Kanon in the care of his friends. However, while fighting the Knife Gamma, he is attacked by Alain who then uses his own Necrom Ghost Eyecon in Makoto's Ghost Driver, making him his brainwashed servant. After apparently killing the Art Supplies Gamma, Makoto manages to break free from the spell with the help of Kanon, Takeru, and the Ghosts of Tutankhamun, Nobunaga, and Houdini. It is revealed that Makoto's soul was removed from his original human body, which is kept by Igor in his lab, and transferred into a Gamma body. As a result, Makoto can freely travel between the human and Gamma worlds. After entrusting his Machine Hoodie, his three historical hero Eyecons and Alain to his friends, Makoto let his Eyecon body to be destroyed by a Gamma Ultima form of Javel, in order to get his human body back. Once he gets his human body back, Makoto wakes up from the capsule and goes to Edith's Eyecon storage to get his Specter Eyecon, before returning to human world. Edith gives him the Deep Specter Eyecon, while also warning him to be careful of its dangerous power. He manages to catch up with Takeru and Alain, but sadly, Takeru informs Makoto that Alain has become inconsolable after he learned that Adel killed Adonis. Makoto snaps him out of it by punching him in the face, and tells Alain that he still has his father's good will to carry on.

Like Kamen Rider Ghost, Kamen Rider Specter has multiple "Damashii" forms that he can assume by means of a different Ghost Eyecon. Kamen Rider Specter's primary form is accessed from an Eyecon with the same name as an unknown specter soul. This form grants him increased speed, and his finishing move is the Omega Drive (オメガドライブ Omega Doraibu) Rider Kick. Kamen Rider Specter's main weapon is the Gan Gun Hand (ガンガンハンド Gan Gan Hando), which like Kamen Rider Ghost's Gan Gun Saber takes on different modes depending on which Damashii form Kamen Rider Specter has taken. The default Rod Mode's finishing move is the Omega Smash (オメガスマッシュ Omega Sumasshu). His motorcyle is called the Machine Hoodie (マシンフーディー Mashin Fūdī).

With the Deep Specter Eyecon received from Edith, Makoto can transform into Kamen Rider Deep Specter (仮面ライダーディープスペクター Kamen Raidā Dīpu Supekutā). Having similar powers to Kamen Rider Ghost Toucon Boost Damashii, this form comes with its own version of the Sunglasseslasher called the Deep Slasher (ディープスラッシャー Dīpu Surassha) which can also alternate between Sword Mode and Blaster Mode. Like the Sunglasseslasher, the Deep Slasher can hold two Ghost Eyecons for Kamen Rider Deep Specter to execute one of two attacks: the Omega Giri (オメガギリ, Omega Slash) in Sword Mode or the Omega Dama (オメガダマ, Omega Ball) in Blaster Mode. However, this form has a dangerous side effect that can make the user uncontrollable. Only those who use its power for righteousness can overcome the Eyecon's control. Said Eyecon much like the Eyecon Driver G was made by Edith in the hopes of putting Takeru to his use, but reluctantly gives it to Makoto instead when the latter willingly takes the risk in place of Takeru.

Kamen Rider Specter can also use any of Kamen Rider Ghost's Ghost Eyecons, having once stolen the Edison Ghost Eyecon to transform into his own version of Edison Damashii; after allying with Takeru, Makoto is free to borrow Kamen Rider Ghost's Eyecons as he wishes. Later, when Alain uses his Necrom Ghost Eyecon in Makoto's Ghost Driver, it transforms Makoto into Kamen Rider Necrom Specter (仮面ライダーネクロムスペクター Kamen Raidā Nekuromu Supekutā), turning him into Alain's brainwashed servant. However, his sister's presence can break Alain's control over him, though temporary a bit.

Also like Kamen Rider Ghost, Kamen Rider Specter has forms that appear in side media and not in the canon of the TV series.

Makoto Fukami is portrayed by Ryosuke Yamamoto (山本 涼介 Yamamoto Ryōsuke).[6] As a child, Makoto is portrayed by Renma Taga (多賀 蓮真 Taga Renma).

Kanon Fukami

Kanon Fukami (深海 カノン Fukami Kanon)[lower-alpha 7] is Makoto's younger sister who was trapped with him in the Gamma's dimension for the past 10 years after being absorbed into an Eyecon Monolith. While Makoto made it back to Earth in one piece, Kanon's body has been trapped on the other side, while her soul is retained by Makoto in a Gamma Eyecon called the "Little Sister Eyecon" (妹眼魂 Imōto Aikon). While Kanon wishes to return to normal, she is appalled at how her brother has stooped so low as to fight their own childhood friend Takeru for her sake. After her Eyecon is stolen from Makoto by the Green Dragon Blade Gamma, and Makoto is forced into doing Saionji's bidding for her safe return, Takeru promises to help Makoto to save her. Takeru ultimately uses his wish to bring Kanon back to normal, reuniting brother and sister once more. After discovering that Alain has brainwashed Makoto into Kamen Rider Necrom Specter to kill Takeru, she discovers she can break Alain's spell and return her brother to normal, albeit temporarily.

Kanon Fukami is portrayed by Mio Kudo (工藤 美桜 Kudō Mio). As a child, the character is portrayed by Yui Segizawa (堰沢 結衣 Segizawa Yui).

Fukushima Family

Fumi Fukushima

Fumi Fukushima (福嶋 フミ Fukushima Fumi) is an old woman who runs a takoyaki shop named Fūmin (フーミン). She has known Takeru, Akari, and the Fukami siblings since they were children. She also treats Alain a takoyaki, which becomes his favorite food. She also gives him a brand new human outfit to wear. He later returns to draw something for her as a sign of his gratitude, but he discovers she has peacefully died in her sleep.

Fumi Fukushima is portrayed by Hisako Ohkata (大方 斐紗子 Ōkata Hisako). As a child, Fumi is portrayed Momone Shinokawa (篠川 桃音 Shinokawa Momone).

Harumi Fukushima

Harumi Fukushima (福嶋 ハルミ Fukushima Harumi) is Fumi's granddaughter.

Harumi Fukushima is portrayed by Kaya Hioki (日置 かや Hioki Kaya).

Chikara Saionji

Chikara Saionji (西園寺 主税 Saionji Chikara), previously referred to as a mysterious man (謎の男 nazo no otoko), was a colleague of Ryū Tenkūji and Kenjirō Igarashi who aided in their Gamma study a decade ago before betraying them to aid Alain. Though Chikara expressed regret of his treachery, he deemed Ryū's hope for a better future misplaced as he planned to use the Ganma he summons to his world for his own agenda. Chikara's plans come to fruition after Kamen Riders Ghost and Specter manage to collect various Ghost Eyecons, as he has five himself, even though he temporarily loses the Billy the Kid Eyecon to Kamen Rider Ghost. He then lures the two Kamen Riders into one place, steals their Eyecons, and heads to the Monolith below Daitenkū-ji to demand the power to take over the world. However, as he does not have a Ghost Driver, his plan backfires and he is killed by the Monolith's power.

Chikara Saionji is portrayed by Yoshiyuki Morishita (森下 能幸 Morishita Yoshiyuki).[6]

Gamma

The Gamma (眼魔(ガンマ) Ganma)[lower-alpha 8] are extra-dimensional creatures that appear as ghosts in the physical world. Each Gamma has a Gamma Eyecon that it uses on an object in the physical world to take on a more powerful form than its Primal Body (素体 Sotai). The weakest level of Gamma are the Gamma Assaults (眼魔アサルト Ganma Asaruto) who are served by Gamma Commandos (眼魔コマンド Ganma Komando) whose Eyecons lack the energy needed to become more powerful, most of them later revealed to have originally been human until Igor developed technology to convert human souls into Gamma. Above the Gamma Assaults are the Gamma Superiors (眼魔スペリオル Ganma Superioru) that can assume human appearances with special Gamma Eyecons. Members of the Gamma World's royal family are similar to Gamma Superiors but are instead more powerful and known as Gamma Ultimas (眼魔ウルティマ Ganma Urutima), though, certain Gamma Superiors can be promoted to that status by a royal family member providing them with a specific Eyecon. A Gamma Ultima are also capable of empowering themselves through various external methods and become a Gamma Ultima Fire (眼魔ウルティマ・ファイヤー Ganma Urutima Faiyā).

A Gamma that absorbs a wild Hoodie Ghost can transform into a monstrous Giant Gamma (巨大眼魔 Kyodai Ganma) until a Kamen Rider Ghost can defeat the monster to separate the absorbed Hoodie Ghost from it. As an Eyecon, along with Hoodie Ghosts, Gammas also have the ability possess living humans. However, unlike the Hoodie Ghost while also in an Eyecon states, Gammas cannot get the humans or having them go inside the Eyecon. A machine created by the Gamma inventor Igor has the ability to revive Gamma back after seemingly being killed or destroyed by the Kamen Riders, making them immortal. However, when the Gamma's mortal body becomes weaker, the machine itself overheats, killing the host/soul and leaving nothing but a black dust.

Originally, Chikara Saionji appeared to be controlling the Gamma from behind the scenes, using them and the Kamen Riders to collect the 15 Ghost Eyecons to fulfill their own plans of world domination. But the Ganmas' true plan is to an utopia without death through the Demia Project (デミアプロジェクト Demia Purojekuto), named after the late Gamma empress. But after Adel successfully assassinates his own father and frames Alain for the crime, he takes over the project for his own plan.

Alain

Alain (アラン Aran) is a young man who first appeared to be Saionji's partner before later revealed to be the son of the Ganma emperor Adonis. He seeks the Ghost Eyecons to examine their power, for reasons that have yet to be revealed. Javel has been sent by Adonis in order to help him, but after Javel disobeys his orders, Alain begins to hypothesize on what his subordinate's true orders are, as well as those of Adel. He steals the Mega Ulorder and Necrom Ghost Eyecon from his brother, and gains the ability to transform into Kamen Rider Necrom (仮面ライダーネクロム Kamen Raidā Nekuromu).[7][8][9] The Robin Hood Hoodie Ghost has told Takeru that he sees that Alain follows his own twisted ideal of justice, just as every other person follows their own form of justice. After being framed for his father's death and unaware of his brother's treachery, Alain decides to take the throne from Adel while trying to adjust to life in the human world. He helps Takeru find Makoto and his human body in the Gamma world as he is honorbound after the two rescued him many times. On the trip back, Alain learns from Alia that the Demia Project is simply a set up for Adel's coup attempt and that Adonis is alive and well, but imprisoned in his mortal body. While he searches for his father, he learns why he and other Gammas are immortal and realizes why Takeru believes the Gamma world is a dystopia. Takeru ultimately saves Adonis but the reunion between father and son is cut short when Adonis sacrifices himself to save Alain from Adel's assassins. Alain promises to carry out his father's will in saving both the human and Gamma worlds, but is distraught when he sees Adel kill his father with his own hands. Back in the human world, Makoto brings Alain back to his senses with a punch to the face, and Alain decides that he will seek to restore peace and happiness to the Gamma world by defeating his own brother.

As Kamen Rider Necrom, Alain uses a brace called the Mega Ulorder (メガウルオウダー Mega Uruōdā) and Ghost Eyecons to transform. His primary form is accessed via the Necrom Ghost Eyecon, and his Omega Ulord (オメガウルオウド Omega Uruōdo) finishing move is the Necrom Destroy (ネクロム デストロイ Nekuromu Desutoroi), which is used as either a Rider Kick or a Rider Punch. The Necrom Ghost Eyecon allows him to control others' minds, from Gammas to even humans, including two other Ghost Eyecons he acquired from Javel. However, as the Necrom Ghost Eyecon is still a prototype, Kamen Rider Necrom's transformation is limited, and he must summon Gammas and then absorb them to power himself to fight longer. If he is ever defeated in battle to where his body is destroyed, he can transfer his consciousness to another Gamma's body, transforming it into his own. Kamen Rider Necrom can also make his body intangible to physical harm, but he cannot protect himself from electrical-based attacks. Like both Kamen Rider Ghost and Kamen Rider Specter, he also has access to other forms known as "Damashii" depending on which Ghost Eyecon he has put into the Mega Ulorder:

Alain can also use his Necrom Ghost Eyecon in other Kamen Riders' Ghost Driver belts, turning the wearer into his brainwashed servant. He first uses it on Kamen Rider Specter, turning Makoto into Kamen Rider Necrom Specter. However, only someone who is very close to one of Alain's brainwashed Ghost Driver users can break his spell.

Alain is portrayed by Hayato Isomura (磯村 勇斗 Isomura Hayato).

Javel

Javel (ジャベル Jaberu) is a man who is sent by Adonis to support him in his mission to collect the Eyecons. However, he will disobey Alain's commands should he deem them foolish, as he answers to Adel first, much to Alain's dismay. He possesses a special Gamma Eyecon that allows him to transform into a Gamma Superior form. As a Gamma Superior, he moves at high speed and his combat ability is on par with the Kamen Riders, but he is able to use his body to his advantage in ways they cannot. He can also unleash waves of energy from his palms. Javel has been destroyed twice, once by Kamen Rider Ghost Toucon Boost Damashii and once by Kamen Rider Specter Houdini Damashii (after merging with a Gundari) but somehow finds a way to return each time through Igor's technology to bring Gammas back. After Adel's inheritance of Adonis' throne, Javel wakes up in his mortal body and is given an Eyecon that allows him to become a gamma Ultima and is told to assassinate Alain for his treason. During a battle with Kamen Rider Ghost, Javel is possessed by a Gammiser and becomes a Gamma Ultima Fire, but he is defeated. He tries to kill them once more at Daitenkū-ji, but he discovers he is dying of starvation after having been reverted to his mortal body for the first time in years. Onari gives him some food, saving his life, despite having tried to murder him, which helps Javel realize the error of his ways. He later repays this kindness by saving Onari, the Art Supplies Gamma, and the Music Note Gamma from Igor's attack.

Javel is portrayed by Sotaro (聡太郎 Sōtarō). As Gamma Ultima Fire (while under possession of a Gammiser), he was voiced by Sayaka Ohara.

Adel

Adel (アデル Aderu) is Alain's older brother who seems to be in charge of things in the Gamma world. He is the one who truly leads Javel, and has more authority than Alain. He has led attempts for humans to be used by the Gamma world, and secretly attempt to overthrow his father to be the new Emperor of the Gamma World. He desires to take over both the human and Gamma Worlds in order to create a new "utopia". His first step is to destroy his father's Eyecon body, forcing him back to his mortal body and imprisons him secretly. Next, he uses the lie that his father has been "assassinated" by framing Alain for the crime, also destroying his younger brother's Eyecon body to revert him to his mortal body and kill him for good, as well as both Takeru Tenkūji and Makoto Fukami. He soon has the Gammisers under his command. During Alain and Takeru's return to the Gamma world to find Makoto, as well as Adonis, Adel kills his dying father in front of his own brother and Takeru.

As a member of the Gamma royal family, Adel possesses a special Gamma Eyecon that allows him to transform into a Gamma Ultima form. As a Gamma Ultima, his strength exceeds that of a Gamma Superior, and he can disable projectile weapons and melt things by simply touching them.

Adel is portrayed by Akihiro Mayama (真山 明大 Mayama Akihiro).

Igor

Igor (イゴール Igōru) is a scientist from the Gamma World whose thoughts are always scientific and never emotional. Given orders by Adel to create an army, Igor built machines that convert human souls into Gamma. He possesses a special Gamma Eyecon that allows him to transform into a Gamma Superior Perfect (眼魔スペリオル・パーフェクト Ganma Superioru Pāfekuto) form, and also uses the black-colored Proto-Mega Ulorder (プロトメガウルオウダー Puroto Mega Uruōdā) to assume the access the forms of Gamma Assaults like the Knife Gamma.

Igor is portrayed by Hiroshi Yamamoto (山本 浩司 Yamamoto Hiroshi).

Alia

Alia (アリア Aria) is Alain and Adel's older sister who once took care of the Fukami siblings. Alia becomes aware of her brother Adel's plans to kill their father Adonis, but before she can act, she crosses paths with Makoto searching for his original body. He thanks her for raising himself and Kanon while they were in the Gamma World and offers to show her the human world, but Alia turns down the offer, knowing that she will be needed in the Gamma World after realizing that Adel has succeeded in assassinating the emperor Adonis, a fact that she relays to Makoto before he leaves. Although Alia finally finds her father alive and imprisoned by Adel, she is warned by her father to stay away from a barrier Adel has imprisoned him in, and tells her to play along with Adel's schemes until Alain returns with a reinforcements. Once Alain returns, backed by his new ally Takeru Tenkūji, Alia reveals to her younger brother that Adel has set up all of the events thus far, including framing him for their father's assassination. When she learns that Adel has finally killed their father, Alia entrusts Takeru to take care of Alain while she remains behind.

Alia is portrayed by Reon Kadena (かでな れおん Kadena Reon).

Adonis

Adonis (アドニス Adonisu) is the emperor of the Gamma and the father of Alain, Adel, and Alia.
