List of NCAA Division I FBS Conference Championship games
The following is a list of NCAA Division I FBS conferences holding football Championship games.
Power Five Conferences
The Big Twelve Conference is the only conference among the Power Five conferences not to hold a Championship Game due to the lack of teams within the conference playing football(minimum 12 teams). It previously held a Championship game from 1996-2010.

Group of Five Conferences
The Sun Belt Conference is the only conference among the Group of Five conferences not to hold a Championship Game due to the lack of teams within the conference playing football(minimum 12 teams). Coastal Carolina will join the Sun Belt on July 1, 2016 but its football team will not be eligible to play until the 2017 season.[1]
