List of Sofia the First episodes
Sofia the First is an American computer-animated television series that incorporates characters from the Disney Princess franchise. The series stars Ariel Winter as Sofia, a young girl who becomes a princess when her mother, Miranda, marries King Roland II of the kingdom of Enchancia.
On April 14, 2015, the series was renewed for a fourth season by Disney Junior.[1]

The pilot movie introduces Sofia and how she has to adjust to royal life after her mother marries King Roland II. With the help of Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather from Sleeping Beauty, who are now in charge of the Royal Preparatory Academy, Sofia learns that looking like a princess is not all that hard, but behaving like one must come from the heart. She has the incredibly powerful magical Amulet of Avalor that grants her the ability to talk to and understand animals and summon her princess friends (The Disney Princesses from the previous films) in case she needs help with something, but the amulet is coveted by the evil sorcerer Cedric who wants its great magical power so he can use it to take over the kingdom as King Cedric the Great. She also has to deal with her mean, jealous stepsister Amber, whose attempts to ruin the ball and humiliate her land them both in hot water. Cinderella appears to help sort it out. When she sees Sofia's beautiful swan costume, she gets jealous and decides to go to Cedric and asks him to let her use a magic spell to make her costume. The spell makes Amber a wonderful butterfly costume, and she wins the costume contest. But the costume won't come off, and it turns out that it's actually real. Cedric says that the only way to turn Amber back to her true form is with Sofia's amulet. When Amber tries to take Sofia's amulet, she tells her sister what she did, and Sofia is happy to let Amber have the amulet, but knowing what she did was wrong, Amber refuses to take the amulet. Amber admits to the fairies that she cheated in the costume contest by using magic to make her costume. The fairies fix Amber, and she has to return her unfairly won trophy. | ||||||
