Transparent is an American comedy television series created by Jill Soloway for Amazon Studios that debuted on February 6, 2014.[1] The story revolves around a Los Angeles family and their lives following the discovery that the person they knew as their father Mort (Jeffrey Tambor) is transgender.[2] Transparent's full first season premiered on September 26, 2014.[3] The show was renewed for a second season on October 9, 2014, which premiered on December 11, 2015.[4][5]

As of December 11, 2015, 20 episodes of Transparent have been released, concluding its second season. The series has been renewed for a third season.[6]
