List of True Detective episodes
True Detective is an American anthology crime drama television series created and written by Nic Pizzolatto, which premiered on HBO on January 12, 2014.[1]
Each season acts as a self-contained story, featuring entirely different characters and storylines. The first season stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as Detectives Rustin "Rust" Cohle and Martin "Marty" Hart respectively and focuses on their seventeen-year hunt for a serial killer in southern Louisiana. The second season focuses on political corruption in southern California following the high-profile murder of a city planner, and features a new cast including Colin Farrell as Ray Velcoro, Rachel McAdams as Antigone "Ani" Bezzerides, Taylor Kitsch as Paul Woodrugh, and Kelly Reilly and Vince Vaughn as Jordan and Frank Semyon. It premiered on June 21, 2015.[2] As of August 9, 2015, 16 episodes of True Detective have aired, concluding the second season.
