List of Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Malacca

The Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Malacca (Malay: Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka, also known as the Governor of Malacca) is the ceremonial head of state of the Malaysian state of Malacca. He is appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the advice of the Chief Minister of Malacca. The Yang di-Pertua Negeri is styled Tuan Yang Terutama (T.Y.T.), or His Excellency.
The Yang di-Pertua Negeri's roles include conferring state honours, dissolving the state assembly and appointing the Chief Minister. He also serves as Malacca's representative in the Conference of Rulers.[1]
