This is a list of awards and nominations received by Mohanlal Viswanathan Nair, better known as Mohanlal, an Indian film actor, producer, writer and playback singer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema and has acted over 320 films. He received his first Kerala State Film Award in 1986 and has received numerous acting awards since then.
In addition to awards for film acting, the government of India honoured him with Padma Shri award in 2001, and he was given the honorary rank of Lt. Colonol from Indian Territorial Army[1] as well as a number of other recognitions.
