This is a list of the highest bridges in the United States sorted by their height over land or water. "Height" refers to the distance from the bridge deck to the lowest point in the land or water below.

Bridges
The height needed for bridges over major ship routes is around 220 feet (67 m) so there are many bridges with approximately that height.
