29 March 1954	7.0–7.9	V		Dúrcal Andalusia			Near the south of Spain. This earthquake caused property damage at Malaga. Felt at Madrid, Granada and Cadiz, Spain; Tangier, Spanish Morocco, and Casablanca, French Morocco. The depth was 640 kilometers.
19 April 1956	5.0		12	Albolote Granada
11 May 2011	5.1	V	9	Lorca Murcia			This earthquake caused damage to a clocktower and old buildings. The depth was estimated at ~1 kilometer. A tunnel at the A7 road to Andalusia collapsed. The earthquake was also felt in cities as far as Madrid, Cordoba and Valencia.
