Municipalities of Montenegro

Montenegro is composed of 23 municipalities (Општина, opština), the Old Royal Capital Cetinje and the Podgorica Capital City. Podgorica also has two subdivisions - urban municipalities (градска општина, gradska opština).

Recently created:

• Petnjica Municipality^[1][2][3]
• Gusinje Municipality^[4]

  • Urban Municipality of Tuzi

The Union of Municipalities of Montenegro is a national association of local authorities of Montenegro.^[5]
