"Tijuana Surf" by "The Hollywood Persuaders" -a fictional group; in reality, musician Paul Buff (pictured) played all the instruments on the song- topped the Mexican charts for at least 15 weeks, keeping The Beatles' "I Want To Hold Your Hand" from reaching number one.
