List of power stations in Missouri

The state of Missouri has many electric power stations and many different types of energy sources. The top ten power producing plants in Missouri are : Labadie, Iatian, Rush Island, New Madrid, Callaway, Thomas Hill, Sioux, Hawthorn, Meramec, Dogwood. All of these ten use coal as a primary energy source, with the exception of Dogwood (natural gas) and Callaway (nuclear). [1]

In addition Missouri has Bagnell Dam and Table Rock Dam (both hydroelectric), and Taum Sauk (water pumping/hydroelectric) power plants.
