Rage have had a long time tradition of having a band or artist host the show on the Saturday night rage episode. They select and introduce their favourite music videos of all time from the rage library. This gives an insight into the bands and artists influences which are highly regarded by fans. Tapings of Rage guest programmers are not only valuable but highly sought after too. Rage has had hundreds of artists host the show over its vast history.

Rage often films their guest presenters at the triple j conference room in Ultimo, Sydney. there are also with the guest & specials for often films at all locations in regional Australia with live music tours & festivals.
