List of smaller islands in New York City
In addition to the three principal islands of New York City—Long, Manhattan and Staten Islands—each borough contains smaller islands. New York City has about 36 to 42 islands in total, so there are between 33 and 39 smaller islands.[1]

- Pelham Islands, historical name for a group of mostly uninhabited islands
