Listvyanka (Russian: Листвя́нка) is an urban locality (a work settlement) in Irkutsky District of Irkutsk Oblast, Russia, located 70 kilometers (43 mi) from Irkutsk, near the point where the Angara River leaves Lake Baikal. Population: 1,882(2010 Census);[1] 1,745(2002 Census);[2] 2,379(1989 Census).[3]

Climate

Summer temperatures in Listvyanka range within highs of 77 °F (25 °C) and lows of 54 °F (12 °C). Winters are very cold. Normally temperature drops down below 12 °F (−11 °C).[4]
