LivePlanet

LivePlanet is a production company that invests in content for television and new media platforms. It was founded in 2000.[1]

History

The company was started by Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Chris Moore and Sean Bailey. Affleck and Damon ended their film production deal on December 31, 2007 and Bailey disassociated in 2008 to form Ideology Inc., his own film production company, at Disney.[2]

Chris Moore was CEO of LivePlanet from 2000 through 2002, followed by Larry Tanz, who served as CEO and President from 2003 through 2007.

The company is currently helmed by Keith Quinn.

The company is well known for television's Project Greenlight, Affleck's directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone, and the documentary Running the Sahara.
