Liverpool2

Liverpool2 will be on a triangle of reclaimed land between the Gladstone river lock and the white sheds.

Liverpool2 is an extension to the Seaforth Dock container terminal built by Peel Ports that is scheduled to be operational in 2016.[1] The terminal extension will be able to accommodate two "post-Panamax vessels simultaneously".[2][3] The terminal is being built on reclaimed land using material dredged from the River Mersey. The dredged material provides the necessary clearance in the approach channels for visiting ships.[4]
