Llanberis railway station
Llanberis was a railway station located in Llanberis, Gwynedd. It opened 1 July 1869.[1] This station was closed for regular passenger services in 1932 but was still used by summer excursion trains until 7th Sept.1962 and freight services until December 1964.
The station site and most of the track bed as far as Cwm-y-Glo are now occupied by the improved A4086 road, which now by-passes the centre of Llanberis. The original station building still exists and is in private use as a craft shop.
