Lloyd George Laing (born 21 January 1978) is an internet entrepreneur based in Kingston, Jamaica.[1]

Since graduation from Munro College in 1994, Laing has established himself as a groundbreaking pioneer, most known for his forays in Telecommunications, Internet Development and Entertainment production.

He is the Co-Founder and a managing Partner at JL Mobile,[2] a Jamaican based technology research and development firm. He is the Founder and executive editor of EbooksCaribbean.com[3] and serves as a consultant for various publishing houses throughout the Caribbean.[4]

His private think tank, The Jamaica Data Mining Project, was responsible for the creation of Reggaetop40.com, the reggae industry's first global payola free chart.

An avid advocate of live reggae music in his early years, Laing has been involved in a number of groundbreaking music productions including noted artists such Courtney John, Winston Mcanuff, Protoje, Nomaddz, and Black as Cole amongst others. His label Red Records UK continues to selectively release some of the Reggae industry's most understated productions.
