History

Loganville Christian Academy (LCA) is a private school in Loganville, Georgia, United States for students in grades Pre-K through 12th grade. LCA was founded in 1998 with an enrollment of 68 students. The academy was first run out of spare rooms at Loganville First Baptist Church and Summit Baptist Churches. In 2004 LCA moved to its current location in Loganville, Georgia, off Highway 81, between Loganville and Walnut Grove.[1] The school sits on 50 acres (200,000 m2).

A 2009 addition to the campus, the Activity Center, houses a two-court gymnasium and nine additional classrooms. Baseball, football, and softball fields were also added in 2009, and have helped boost athletics.

Athletics

LCA participates in the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) and the Independent Christian Schools of Georgia and Alabama (ICSGA).[2] In the 2010 baseball season the LCA varsity baseball team became state champions in the ICSGA during regular season for the second year in a row. The football team also won back-to-back state championships during the 2012-2013 seasons.
