The Loja hummingbird, amazilia amazilia alticola, is a hummingbird found in southern Ecuador and northern Peru in the edges of cloud forest and open scrub between 1000 and 2200 m altitude. It is usually considered a subspecies of the amazilia hummingbird, Amazilia amazilia.
