Lokman Singh Karki (Nepali: लोकमान सिंह कार्की Listen , born:April 5, 1956) is the current Chief Commissioner of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Nepal.[1] He has been in office since May, 2013.[2]

Appointment as the Commissioner of CIAA, 2013
Karki was appointed as the Chief Commissioner of CIAA on May 8, 2013 for a term of six years.[1] He was the chief secretary of the government under the direct rule of Former King Gyanendra Shah, and faced massive criticisms from different civil society members, some medias and even Nepali Congress and CPN (UML).[3]
