London and Quadrant
London and Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) is a housing association operating in Greater London, South East England and East Anglia, based in Lewisham.[1] L&Q was established in 1963.
History
The Quadrant Housing Association was formed in the London Borough of Greenwich in 1963 when 32 people invested £2 each to create a housing association. In 1973 Quadrant joined forces with another association, London Housing Trust, which had been set up in 1967. The merged organisation was named London & Quadrant Housing Trust.

L&Q is the largest landlord in Greater London.[2]
L&Q own or manage over 70,000 homes in London and other regions of England, with an annual turnover of £579 million.
Properties are organised under seven regions:
- North: Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Camden, Islington, Hackney, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, Hertsmere, Welwyn Hatfield
- North East: Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Newham, Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham, Havering and areas outside London
- Thames: Greenwich, Bexley and areas outside London
- South East: Lewisham, Bromley
- South: Lambeth, Southwark and areas outside London
- South West: Richmond, Wandsworth, Kingston, Merton, Sutton, Croydon and areas outside London
- West: Hillingdon, Harrow, Brent, Ealing, Hounslow and areas outside London
Management
David Montague is the Chief Executive and Turlogh O’Brien is the Group Chairman.[3]
