Longmont Potion Castle Volume 5 is the sixth, and, at the time it was released, supposedly final album of prank phone calls by the anonymous artist known only as Longmont Potion Castle. It was released May 31, 2005 by Reptillian Records.

Volume 5 featured several tracks where the caller used voice modification technology (to alter the pitch and speed of his voice) and three-way calling, both with the goal of confusing the people on the other line. Some of the businesses dialed include Orange Julius, Blockbuster Video, Waffle House, Wall Units, Albertsons, Twist & Shout Records, Sears and Office Max. Several calls are placed where LPC impersonates a frustrated UPS employee attempting to deliver a large and expensive crate of wildlife to various unassuming parties. Another track features Longmont Potion Castle contacting various homes in the Denver area to ask them who they voted for in the (then-recent) 2004 United States presidential election.

Volume 5 was also included in the 2006 retrospective box set, Longbox Option Package.

Prank Call Central(favorable)[1]

Volume 5 was praised by Prank Call Central as "great stuff" and "a magical wonderland of non sequitor telephonic hilarity".[2] The Denver Westword said in their review that the record succeeded in helping "further advance absurdity as art form."[3]
