Ingøy radio transmitter
The Longwave transmitter Ingøy is a longwave transmitter of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation with a frequency of 153 kHz and a power of 100 kW. It is located about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south of the village of Ingøy on the island of Ingøya in Måsøy Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The transmitter commenced service in 2000 and uses a 362-metre (1,188 ft) guyed mast. The mast is the tallest structure in Norway and Scandinavia.[1]
