"Look Through My Window" is a song recorded by the American vocal group The Mamas & the Papas. It was the first single from their 1967 album The Mamas & The Papas Deliver and charted at number 24 in the United States, but failed to chart in the UK. Written by John Philips, c. 1964 during a temporary separation from his partner, Michelle Phillips. The song was inspired by the fact that although John thought Michelle was out in California, she in fact was just blocks away in Greenwich Village.[1]
